Open a public site, look us up, compare what you see.

Take them in any order. When what you see matches, tick the lookup. When it does not, or you cannot find it, use the other button. That answer is worth telling us.

Is the company on the register?

Where to look

Open the Ministry of Corporate Affairs website and find its company search. There you can look a company up by its name or by its company number.

Type this name

Search by name. A company also has a company number, the CIN, which has 21 characters. If you have it from one of our papers, you can search by it instead.

You should see

Company name: Supervention Private Limited
Company number (CIN): A 21-character number. Compare it with any paper we send you.
Company status: Whether the company is active
Date of incorporation: The day the company was formed
Registered office: The state it is in, and the address
Directors listed: The people the register names as directors

Whoever opens it sees which lookups you did and which did not match, so nobody repeats work or misses a mismatch.

A register shows that a company exists. It does not grade the work. Here is what each lookup covers, what it leaves out, and what to use for the rest.
