Who we are
We are Supervention Private Limited. We run this website and look after the data you give us here.
This policy explains how Supervention Private Limited (“Supervention”, “we”, “us”) handles personal data collected through supervention.in. Our registered office and company number are shown in the footer of every page.
The rights below are the rights that India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (the “DPDP Act”) gives you.
This policy is about this website. If we work on a project together, a written proposal comes first and then a written agreement. The agreement governs that project.
What we collect
Only what our four forms ask for, and your IP address for spam control.
We collect what you type into our forms, and nothing more:
- Contact form: your name, work email and phone, the service you need and your message. If you choose: company, country, job title, type of work, when you want to start and how you heard of us. One file (PDF, Word or image, up to 4 MB). Your consent tick.
- Job application form: your name, email, phone and the role. If you choose: your experience, a link to your profile and a short note. Your CV (PDF or Word, up to 4 MB). Your consent tick.
- Grievance form: your name, email, the type of complaint and your message. Your consent tick. We give you a reference number.
- Supervention Labs waiting list: your email address only.
A hidden field on each form catches automated spam. We also limit each connection to 5 messages in 10 minutes. For that limit we use your IP address, held in memory only. We do not save IP addresses.
None of our forms asks for card numbers, government ID numbers or passwords. Please do not put them in a message.
Why we use it
To answer you, to consider job applications, to look into complaints, and to send Labs news to people who asked.
We use what you send us to:
- read your message and reply, if you used the contact form;
- consider your application for the role you chose, if you applied for a job;
- look into your complaint and reply to you, if you used the grievance form;
- tell you about Supervention Labs, if you joined the waiting list. We use your email only for that;
- keep the forms free of spam.
If you ask us to keep your job application for future roles, we may use it for that.
Who sees it
Signed-in members of our team, and two companies that run things for us. We do not sell personal data.
Everything you send goes into our admin panel. Only signed-in team members can read it, and each role sees only its own area:
- the admin sees everything;
- sales sees requirements, grievances and Labs sign-ups;
- hiring sees job applications.
Two companies handle your data because of how we run the site:
- Google, because our email runs on Google Workspace and each submission is also sent to our team mailbox as an email;
- Amazon Web Services, our hosting provider, which holds the server.
No other company receives what you send. We do not sell personal data.
Where it is kept
On a server in Mumbai, India. A copy of each message is also emailed to our team mailbox.
Each submission is saved in our admin panel database. Any file you attach is saved in private storage on the same server. Both are on AWS, in the Mumbai region of India (ap-south-1).
The email copy is in our Google Workspace mailbox.
How long we keep it
Each kind of data has its own time limit. You can ask us to delete it sooner.
We keep personal data for the times below. The row for what you picked on the receipt is marked.

Cookies, browser storage and links
Visitor pages set no cookies and run no analytics. Other sites have their own rules.
Pages you visit as a visitor set no cookies. We use no analytics, advertising, tracking pixel, chat widget or social plugin. Our pages load no scripts or fonts from other companies.
After you send the contact form, the page keeps a copy of your own message in your browser’s session storage. It is there only so the thank-you page can show it back to you. It stays on your device, is never sent anywhere, and is cleared when you close the tab.
Only team members who sign in to our admin panel get a login cookie. Visitors never do.
Our pages link to other sites, such as Upwork, supervention.ai, arunverma.in and the Ministry of Corporate Affairs. We do not control them, and they have their own rules.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, take back your consent, and complain.
Under the DPDP Act you have the right to:
- Know: ask what personal data we hold about you and why.
- Correct or complete it: fix data that is wrong, or add what is missing.
- Have it erased: ask us to delete it.
- Withdraw consent: say no again, at any time.
- Nominate someone: name a person to act for you if you cannot.
- Complain: tell us first. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can then complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
To use any of these, write to hello@supervention.in at any time. We answer within 15 working days. The receipt at the top of this page makes a ready-made email for each of these.
